YOU THINK SULFATE FREE SHAMPOO IS THE ANSWER FOR A GOOD HAIR??? WRONG!!!

What is a shampoo?

A shampoo is a blend of surfactants ( surface active agent ) that have a function of making non water soluble material like dirt and oil to be soluble in shower water so that it can clean your hair.

Sulphates are a type of surfactants called anionic, they have a negative charge and it is widely used by the personal care top brands as it is an effective hair cleaner, sometimes too strong that it cleans too much and leave the hair stripped from its oils.

So are sulphates good or bad?

It depends on your hair type or in fact your scalp type.

For instance if your hair type is dry, using shampoos that contain sulphates will make it dryer if not used with other proper hair care products like conditioners and natural hair oils.

If your hair type is oily, then using shampoos containing sulphates will help you control the excessive oil secretion and maintain your hair looking good. And this also needs other hair care products like special oil treatments.

Curly hair, there is so many types of curly hair but the most common one is a little dry. Some people found that CG method is working well with them and others don’t. the thing is the main factor affecting your curly hair’s health is the conditioning process, the type of oils you need to feed these beautiful curls and lock the moisture inside the hair shafts to make it bouncy
